First Time to Jaipur

         My train reached Jaipur Junction in rajasthan. It comes under North - West Railways, and capital of Rajasthan. I felt as if i have reached to some other place in the world. 

          Well i waited for the rush on the platform to reduce, then i took my phone out and called my colleague to find out weather he has arranged any pick up for me. He asked me to take local transport and reach the hotel. Cool its going to be new experience now!!!!. Local transport in unknown place for the first time.

I am out side the junction now and found lot of autowalas waiting for me , asking me where to go. It was crowded outside with other vehicles. I showed a guy the address, he gave it back to me. He said he can not read and asked me where to go. So i told him that i have to go to Ahimsa Circle.

      My colleague has already asked me not to pay more that 60 bucks so i started negotiating. The auto walas said 200 bucks and then he agreed for 70 bucks. He took my bag and we headed towards his auto rikshaw.

 

     He told me that Jaipur is also called Pink City. It is because all the buildings inside the fort (earlier which used to be ruled by kings of jaipur) were made of pink. There are lot of tourists who come here every year.

   

   

  I asked him what is the famous food of this city, I was already feeling hungry. He said DAL BHATI CHURMA,  a new dish i have heard and waiting to taste. Well I reached Ahimsa Circle, where my colleauge was waiting for me. He asked me for lunch and you can guess what i asked him "DAL BHATTI CHURMA". He took me to the nearest hotel and told me you can get lot of dishes from vendors in that area, like "Paratha", "Chola Kulcha", "Amritsari Naan", "Pyaz Ki Kachori" and more mouth watering names.

    I thought iam going to have a FOODFUL stay in Jaipur and went to my room got ready for my lunch. In the evening i walked near Ahimsa Circle, it had an Mohammad Ibrahim Road connected to it. I tasted all the stuffs which i mentioned earlier  and my stomach was full. I went back and slept.
